This role applies extensive technical expertise to evaluate requests to connect distributed generation to the distribution system, focusing on reliability and safety and coordinating with planning, substation, protection, and field engineering teams.

The successful candidate will work in a collaborative environment across multiple projects, mentoring junior engineers, and guiding interconnection processes for NSP.

Formación

• ABET-accredited engineering program
• Electrical or mechanical engineering degree preferred
• EIT/FE strongly preferred

Responsabilidades

• Lead multiple projects of moderate to large size within DER integration and interconnection.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and technicians.
• Coordinate with planning, substation, protection, and other engineering groups to ensure safe and reliable interconnection.
