Job summary

Lynker Corporation seeks a Deputy Program Manager & Supplemental Project Manager to support NOAA's Office of Modeling and Development at the NCWCP in College Park, MD. This hybrid role blends project leadership with technical task direction and coordination with Federal Oversight Managers and senior OMD leadership.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of experience, plus 3+ years in project management, UNIX scripting, HPC, and Git/GitHub.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a related science/engineering field with at least 10 years of experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience with cross-functional teams and federal stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and project management for high-priority NOAA/NCWCP programs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and software developers.
• Monitor budgets, staffing, and schedules; report status to government and Lynker PMs.
• Oversee contract performance and ensure alignment with program objectives.
• Support business development activities and liaise with COR and FOMs.
