Job summary

Lynker is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to provide senior oversight of acquisition support, procurement tracking, and government property management for the NOAA/NESDIS program office. The work is on-site in Suitland, MD, and involves coordinating with CORs, project leads, and program leadership to ensure compliant lifecycle planning and budget reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of program operations experience, working knowledge of FAR property management, and CMMS familiarity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business/related field.
• 5–10 years of program/contract operations or property management experience.
• Familiarity with FAR Part 45 property management and procurement processes.
• Experience preparing acquisition documentation (PWS, SOW, IGCE).
• Ability to travel to program sites for inventories as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of hardware/software acquisitions.
• Oversee POP audits for licenses and maintenance renewals.
• Direct tracking and reporting of contract budgets and performance metrics; flag discrepancies.
• Review and format PWS, SOW, IGCE, and 508/IT security checklists.
• Manage onboarding/logistics for contractors, including badging and property assignment.
• Coordinate periodic property inventories and related BOR packages.
• Oversee CMMS inventory control and disposition of obsolete property.
