Job summary

Banner Life Insurance Company in Frederick, MD is seeking a Delivery Coordinator for Pension Risk Transfer to orchestrate release activities and Agile delivery. You will coordinate release plans, maintain schedules, and support cross‑functional teams including IT, QA, and vendors to ensure on‑time, quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings 5–6 years in release coordination or related roles, strong SDLC and Agile knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5–6 years of experience in Release Coordination, Business Analysis, Project Coordination, Agile Delivery Support, or related roles.
• Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles.
• Experience working in Agile or similar project delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support software release activities across multiple projects.
• Maintain release schedules, deployment trackers, and delivery milestones.
• Support release readiness reviews and deployment planning activities.
• Coordinate post-release validation activities and issue tracking.
• Monitor release dependencies, risks, and action items.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning sessions.
• Track project deliverables, and dependencies.
• Provide status updates and ensure follow‑up on assigned actions.
• Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Maintain project documentation and repositories.
• Maintain incident/ ticket logs.
• Track project issues and action items through resolution.
• Support identification and escalation of project risks.
• Coordinate activities across business, operations, IT, quality assurance, and vendor teams.
• Schedule and facilitate project meetings and follow‑up discussions.
• Maintain project and release status reports.
• Track progress against planned milestones and deliverables.
• Support preparation of dashboards and project metrics.
• Monitor open risks, issues, and action items.
