Job summary

The Arc Prince George’s County invites applications for a Delegating Registered Nurse to support Meaningful Day participants. The RN will assess health status, develop care plans, and supervise licensed/unlicensed staff in delegated nursing tasks within a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities include comprehensive health assessments, care plan updates, staff teaching, and coordination with IP teams and PCP meetings. Maryland RN licensure is required, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Maryland.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience; developmental disabilities preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Maryland Nurse Practice Act regarding delegation.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform Initial Nursing Assessments and develop care plans.
• Conduct 45-day reviews and delegated nursing function reviews.
• Provide staff teaching and supervision on delegated nursing tasks.
• Maintain thorough documentation of nursing assessments and care.
• Collaborate with IP teams and PCP meetings.
