Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license to practice in MD.
• Ability to work with individuals with all levels of disabilities.
• Must be detail oriented and able to complete duties with little supervision.
• Knowledge of infection control, universal precautions, incident reporting and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Make individual health care plans that include admission, oversight of medication management, therapies & treatments, evaluation of test results & evaluation of the plan's effectiveness.
• Act as liaison between individuals, families, guardians, advocates, health care personnel, the agency and others as required.
• Assist with medical, dental, vision and/or specialty appointments within regulations to ensure continued prompt health care services.
• Hybrid schedule with remote and in-office hours; on-call for urgent health issues.
• Review MARs/TARs monthly; update physician orders every 90 days.
• Attend PCP meetings and all required quarterly meetings to maintain delegating nurse status.
• Maintain RN license, CPR and annual trainings as required by regulations.
