Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in program management.
• 10+ years of experience in the defense industry (gov/commercial).
• U.S. Person; U.S. citizenship required.
• Eligible to obtain Secret U.S. Security Clearance after hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional programs through full lifecycle and align stakeholders.
• Support pre‑award capture and start‑of‑work readiness activities.
• Direct contract execution against requirements and commitments.
• Translate customer needs into executable work breakdown structures and schedules.
• Develop and manage program budgets; monitor financial performance.
• Define KPIs and provide timely reporting to leadership.
• Identify and mitigate program risks and opportunities.
• Engage government customers, primes, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Prepare materials for gate reviews and executive updates.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems and contractual obligations.
• Develop a high‑performing team and represent GM Defense externally.
