Cathedral Arts Project in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Research Assistant to support the Advocacy & Community Engagement Team. You will travel to program sites, administer surveys, maintain CAP’s student database, and ensure data accuracy and timeliness across the organization.

This hybrid role involves collaboration with teaching artists, fellows and program staff, with a start date no later than October 30, 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• One or more years of experience in data entry, database management or survey administration, with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), particularly Excel, and experience with online survey tools.
• Ability to travel to program sites throughout Northeast Florida, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass official Level 2 background screening as outlined by Florida state law.

Responsibilities

• Travel to CAP program sites to administer and collect surveys, coordinating timelines with program staff.
• Drive survey completion rates across CAP programs and support staff in data collection.
• Own day-to-day management of CAP’s student database and ensure data quality and integration with enrollment systems.
• Collaborate with Data Analyst and program staff to resolve data gaps and ensure reliable evidence for CAP’s research.
