Job summary

Cathedral Arts Project (CAP) seeks a Grants and Proposals Manager to lead grant research, writing, and stewardship for institutional funders. This hybrid role, based in Jacksonville, FL, partners with Philanthropy to secure diverse funding and manage the end-to-end submission process.

You will oversee a portfolio of funders representing around $1.5M in annual revenue, crafting compelling narratives and ensuring timely reporting. Start window anticipated Oct 19–Nov 16, 2026.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to research, write and position funding proposals with funders
• Strong track record cultivating and stewarding institutional funders
• Skilled at juggling multiple funder timelines and deadlines
• Ability to build accurate, compliant grant budgets with cross-functional teams
• Experience translating outcomes into evidence-based narratives for reports

Responsibilities

• Research funding opportunities aligned with CAP’s goals.
• Build and manage relationships with foundations, corporations and government funders.
• Lead proposal development from intake to submission and reporting.
• Track grants, budgets and compliance across the grant lifecycle.
