Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a CDSO Data Strategy Lead to own all data-related start-up deliverables from protocol development through system go-live. The role partners across study teams, drives data standards, and ensures regulatory adherence while optimizing processes and delivering timely study execution.

This hybrid role requires strong project management, leadership, and mentoring capabilities, with a focus on translating complex data concepts into actionable decisions for the study team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, CS, life sciences or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 6+ years pharma/clinical research/data management/health care experience or 8+ years PM experience.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and clinical technology.
• Proven leadership and ability to influence without authority.
• Strong coaching/mentoring in a matrix environment.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CDSO study start-up SME and single point of contact for assigned studies.
• Lead data management study start-up end-to-end from protocol through go-live.
• Ensure consistency in data strategy, CRFs, and surveillance across studies.
• Translate complex data/tech concepts into clear guidance for teams.
• Adhere to GCPs, ICH guidelines and AbbVie SOPs; stay updated on guidance.
• Coach and mentor team members and drive process improvements.
