Job summary

AbbVie seeks a CDSO Data Strategy Lead to own data-related start-up deliverables across protocols, design and go-live, partnering with clinical teams to embed data standards and enable timely study initiation. This role combines data strategy with program management across cross-functional teams in a hybrid setting.

The position requires 6+ years in pharma/clinical data or 8+ years in project management, plus strong leadership, communication and analytical skills to influence without authority

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, CS, life sciences or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 6+ years pharma/clinical research/data management or 8+ years PM experience.
• Deep understanding of clinical trial processes and clinical tech; lead role preferred.
• Proven ability to influence without authority; coach/mentor in matrix.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• CDSO study start-up expert owning data-related deliverables from protocol to go-live.
• Lead data management start-up end-to-end and optimize execution with analytics.
• Ensure consistency in data strategy, CRFs, and surveillance across studies.
• Translate complex data/tech concepts into guidance for study teams.
• Ensure adherence to GCP, ICH, AbbVie SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Influence without direct authority to drive outcomes.
• Lead CDSO innovations and process improvements; mentor team members.
• Hybrid role with 3 onsite days per week.
