SPS Commerce is a leading cloud-based provider of supply chain management solutions. We are seeking a Data Platform Manager to guide data engineers and drive the infrastructure behind analytics and AI initiatives.

You will shape the data strategy, mentor a growing team, and partner with enterprise stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable data solutions across the organization. Hybrid work model in Minneapolis, MN environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Data Eng or related field.
• 5–7 years in data engineering, pipelines, and data infrastructure.
• 3+ years leading data platform projects and teams.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and modern data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake).
• Experience with data integration and middleware tools (e.g., Informatica), APIs and queues.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Document current state and set vision with Data & AI Solutions Director.
• Plan, manage, and onboard data platform technologies and integrations.
• Drive automation via observability: metrics, logging, tracing.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and code reviews.
• Manage incident and problem resolution to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate across Enterprise Systems and business units.
• Set goals and manage performance for data engineers.
• Oversee budgets and schedules for the Data Platform team.
