Job summary

Central Health is seeking a Manager of Data Engineering to lead the design, development, and operation of its cloud data platforms and pipelines powering analytics, reporting, data science, AI, and operational insights in Azure/Snowflake.

You will oversee migration from legacy SQL Server to modern cloud data warehouses, define standards, manage a team, and collaborate across analytics, governance, and infrastructure to deliver trustworthy data assets.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years in data engineering, warehousing, or analytics platform development.
2+ years in technical and/or people leadership roles.
2+ years migrating legacy SQL Server environments to cloud data platforms.
Experience in healthcare or regulated environments is preferred.
Familiarity with Snowflake and Azure-based architectures.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Data Engineering team, including hiring and performance management.
Set engineering standards, workflows, and development practices for pipelines and models.
Own the design of analytical data architecture, Snowflake schemas, and data domains.
Ensure the Snowflake environment is scalable, secure, and compliant.
Oversee migrations from legacy systems to cloud data platforms and oversee data quality checks.
