GEHA Health is seeking an Assoc Cloud Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines on Snowflake and Azure in a remote-capable environment. You will collaborate with business users and analytics teams to enable data-driven decisions while adhering to healthcare data governance and security standards.

The role emphasizes cloud-native data solutions, performance optimization, and collaboration across cross-functional teams in a regulated healthcare context.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in data engineering or analytics, ideally in healthcare.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, data engineering, math, or related field or equivalent
• Hands-on SQL skills, writing queries and stored procedures
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Azure data services, and data pipelines

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting and processing large datasets.
• Develop data pipelines on Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including analysts, data scientists, and PMs.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance in cloud environments.
• Implement automated monitoring and logging for data workflows.
• Troubleshoot data pipelines and improve performance.
