UnitedHealth Group is seeking an experienced Cloud Data Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud data infrastructure across Azure stacks and Snowflake. The role emphasizes DevOps pipelines with GitActions CI/CD and Terraform, and requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will work with ADF, SHIR, LogicApps, ADLS Gen2, and Blob Storage, ensuring high availability, security, and scalable analytics solutions in a hybrid US-based environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years configuring and managing Cloud Data Platform infrastructure in Azure data stack environments.
• 3+ years in Snowflake configuration and optimization.
• 3+ years of DevOps tooling and practices with GitActions CI/CD and Terraform.
• 2+ years setting up Databricks for data engineering workloads.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and IaC principles.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Cloud Data Platform infrastructure for Azure Data Factory, SHIR, LogicApps, ADLS Gen2, and Blob Storage.
• Configure and optimize Snowflake data warehouses to meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitActions for seamless deployments.
• Utilize Terraform for IaC to automate cloud resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable cloud solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure high availability and performance of data platforms.
• Apply security best practices to protect data and cloud resources.
