Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Data Engineering Intern in Maple Grove, MN, to support clinical data management and development of electro-mechanical medical device systems within the Interventional Cardiology Coronary Therapies team.

The role involves processing medical images, collaborating with data scientists and engineers, and contributing to code testing and refactoring while ensuring patient safety and product quality.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate degree in CS, software engineering, or biomedical engineering and graduate between Dec 2027 – Spring 2029.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment-based work authorization.
• Relocation/housing assistance may be available to eligible candidates.

Responsibilities

• Review, annotate, and prepare medical images to support machine learning and algorithm development.
• Maintain storage and organization of medical images, annotations, and related data.
• Develop and support validation of tools for analyzing datasets and processing medical images.
