Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking an R&D Engineering Intern in Maple Grove, MN. You’ll join a cross‑functional team to design, develop and validate innovative medical devices and therapies, gaining end‑to‑end exposure to the product lifecycle.

The role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and regulatory compliance in a fast‑paced environment. On‑site work four days per week with relocation/housing assistance as applicable.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Must graduate between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and Testing: assist in design and development of medical devices, prototypes, testing and validation.
• Problem-solving and Compliance: support failure analysis and regulatory compliance activities.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: work with PM, process development, quality, marketing, manufacturing, and regulatory teams.
• Documentation and Reporting: prepare technical reports and design history files for regulatory submissions.
