Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a student intern for the Cardiac Diagnostics data science team in Arden Hills, MN. You will engage in data-driven analysis, signal processing, and machine learning on multivariate clinical data sets, collaborating with software engineers and fellow data scientists.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelors or graduate degree in data science, computer science, mathematics, physics, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or biomedical engineering.
• Must graduate between Fall 2027- Spring 2028.
• Must be able to commit to May 17–Aug 6 or May 24–Aug 13 internship periods.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must have reliable transportation to Arden Hills, MN.
• Proficient understanding of modern statistical data analysis techniques.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Excellent knowledge of data structures, algorithms and modern computer engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Participate in data science, data-driven analysis, signal processing, data mining, and machine learning.
• Research and assess next-generation technologies for analysis of biological signals and data-driven modeling.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and visualize multivariate clinical data sets.
• Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to test algorithms.
• Keep up-to-date with evolving techniques and contribute to technical discussions.
