Job summary

Amicis Global is seeking a Data Center Manager for the Somerset, NJ hybrid role, overseeing North American hardware break/fix operations within a global data center portfolio. You will lead a senior team, align service delivery with business priorities, and ensure 24x7 support readiness across enterprise, colocation, and cloud environments.

The role demands strong leadership, vendor and budget management, incident response, risk mitigation, and the ability to generate clear performance reports

Qualifications

• Degree-level education or equivalent experience in operations management.
• Experience with data centers or critical facilities.
• Strong leadership and budget management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Exposure to governance and vendor negotiations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior operational leadership for IT hardware services across Americas data centers.
• Oversee changes, incidents, and problems; conduct post-incident reviews.
• Develop and improve SOPs, maintenance programs, and technical documentation.
• Ensure resiliency planning and understanding of service dependencies.
• Oversee financial management, cost control, compliance, and safety.
• Deliver regular management reporting on KPIs and SLAs.
• Communicate objectives to stakeholders and partners.
• Manage incident communications and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate audits and corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams during emergencies.
• Develop environmental and sustainability reporting plans.
