Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Data Center Network Operations Engineer for a hybrid role across multiple U.S. locations. You will collaborate with SRE and Network Engineering teams to maintain and improve our global data center presence, tooling, and processes.

In this role you’ll focus on DCIM, network gear, automation, and 24/7 reliability in a fast-growing SaaS environment. Travel is limited; strong collaboration and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, or MIS.
• 4+ years Linux systems administration.
• Experience with data center infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on with Juniper/Cisco and DWDM gear.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Cloudflare’s global data center network.
• Lead and coordinate remote contractors.
• Develop and implement consistent processes and automation.
• Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 availability.
• Support deployment, migration, and decommissioning in data centers.
