ProspectBlue is partnering with a technology and management consulting firm on a Data Architect search. This client-facing role will span industries and locations, including Charlotte, NC, Richmond, VA, Reston, VA, Atlanta, GA, and Denver, CO, with a hybrid work model.

You will assess current-state data environments, design the future-state lake/warehouse architectures, and stay hands-on through implementation, collaborating with data engineers, business analysts, and delivery leads.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data architecture, with consulting or technology firm experience delivering client work
• Experience designing lakehouse/enterprise data architectures with governance and security
• Hands-on data modeling, performance optimization, and cloud platform design

Responsibilities

• Lead current-state assessments and design lake/warehouse architecture, governance, and security models for enterprise clients
• Optimize for cost and performance across cloud platforms
• Stay hands-on in the code — this role involves implementation work, not just strategy
• Work across multiple client engagements and industries rather than a single internal platform
