Job summary

Cloud and Things is seeking a Senior Data Architect to define the program's data architecture roadmap for the NYS client, establish a data lake and analytics reference architecture, and manage data implementation planning across the three IES workstreams.

The role will develop reporting and analytics capabilities for OTDA and OCFS and create a reusable implementation framework that enables the workstreams to utilize program data products, with a hybrid Albany, NY location.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with data lake, analytics and strategy.
• Experience shaping data solutions from requirements to ops.
• Ability to develop technology roadmaps and project plans.
• Strong architecture documentation skills including models and specs.
• Experience implementing data systems on Databricks and/or AWS.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Elicit data goals from OTDA and OCFS.
• Define and maintain the program data architecture roadmap.
• Establish data lake and analytics reference architecture.
• Manage data implementation plan across IES workstreams.
• Develop reporting and analytics product for OTDA and OCFS.
