Job summary

Holland & Hart LLP is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response. You will use SEIM/EDR tools, assess third-party risk, and help design controls for AI systems, while collaborating with the CISO, DPO, and IT teams.

The position requires experience across IT security, policy development, and vulnerability management, with a hybrid schedule in the Boulder, CO area. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, computer science or computer engineering.
• Three years of cyber security experience.
• Minimum of one security technical certification such as SSCP, GSEC, CEH and Security+.
• Experience with vulnerability management and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience maintaining SEIM/EDR/XDR and anti-malware systems.
• Ability to write scripts and generate reporting from security systems.
• Understand IT security frameworks (NIST 800 series, ISO 27001).
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist risk assessments and vulnerability assessments across the enterprise.
• Interface with MSS and EPP vendors for settings and threat remediation.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
• Install and administer security protection devices including EPP and SIEM.
• Evaluate threats using EDR/XDR and anti-malware systems.
• Analyze events with SEIM and generate reports.
• Support Security Awareness and Phishing campaigns.
• Provide KPI metrics to improve security decisions.
• Review configurations against CIS standards and harden systems.
• Support third party risk assessments and audits.
