Job summary

Holland & Hart LLP is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and the design of AI system controls. The role interfaces with CISO, DPO, IT Security, and third parties to implement mitigations and track risks to closure.

Responsibilities include monitoring security alerts, evaluating threats with EDR/XDR tools, and assisting with privacy impact assessments. A hybrid schedule and strong collaboration across IT and legal teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, computer science or computer engineering.
• Three years of cyber security experience.
• Minimum of one security technical certification such as SSCP, GSEC, CEH and Security+.
• Experience in vulnerability management and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Experience with SEIM systems and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document security and privacy risk and assist with control implementation.
• Interface with MSS and EPP vendors, analyze alerts and remediate threats.
• Assist with developing and maintaining information and privacy security policies and standards.
• May install and administer security protection devices including EPP and SIEM.
• Evaluate threats using EDR/XDR and anti-malware systems.
• Develop reporting from SEIM and other devices.
