Job summary

Aon is seeking a US Broking CyQu Advisory Manager to join a hybrid team across multiple offices including Irvine. The role focuses on evaluating security programs, advising on risk transfer solutions, and guiding cyber risk strategy with executive stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT security, consulting experience, and hands-on expertise in IAM, cloud security, and incident response. Travel and strong communication with leadership are essential components of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of varied IT security experience including risk management, security governance, vulnerability management, incident response, and infrastructure support.
• Recent consulting experience with a mid-to-large firm would be a plus.
• Hands-on experience with IAM, enterprise or cloud security, vulnerability management, or cyber-incident response.
• Understanding cyber security insurance coverage and business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Support broking clients and potential new broking relationships through evaluation of security programs and CyQu reports.
• Collaborate with advisory resources to reduce security risks across cybersecurity programs.
• Understand client processes, controls, and risks related to information security.
• Advise on strategies to defend against threats like ransomware and nation-state attacks.
• Assist with client engagement pursuits including pre-sales scoping and proposals.
• Discuss IT networks and security architectures related to identities and access.
• Formulate executive level recommendations on Information Security strategy.
• Mentor team members and improve broking team competence.
