Job summary

Aon is seeking an experienced US Broking CyQu Advisory Manager to join a hybrid team across multiple offices (Chicago, LA, SF, Irvine, Dallas, NY, Miami). You will evaluate security programs, advise on cyber risk transfer, and help shape information security strategy for clients.

Required: 5+ years in IT security, risk management, and governance; strong communication with executives. Travel willingness and optional Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of varied IT security experience including risk management, governance, and incident response.
• Experience with cyber insurance coverage and risk transfer strategies is a plus.
• Ability to communicate with senior leaders and work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support broking clients by evaluating security programs and assisting CyQu report discussions.
• Collaborate with advisory resources to reduce security risks across cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Assess client processes and controls related to information security and data protection.
• Advise on defense strategies against threats like ransomware and nation-state attacks.
• Contribute to client engagement pursuits including scoping and proposals.
• Discuss IT network and security architectures and access control models.
• Provide executive‑level recommendations on information security strategy.
• Mentor and improve broking team members with best practices.
