Job summary

Hillebrand Gori in Edison, NJ is seeking a Customs Entry Writer to ensure compliance with US and international regulations, process entries to US Customs, compute tariffs, and review invoices and bills of lading to release shipments.

The role requires experience in shipping/logistics, familiarity with ACE portal, and proficiency in CargoWise plus MS Office. Hybrid work environment and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years in shipping/logistics/supply chain management industry.
• Customs-licensed may be required depending on department needs.
• Experience with CargoWise and ACE portal preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process documents through the ACE portal.
• Handle ACH duty payments and CF28/CF29 requests.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high service levels.
• Maintain records per US Customs rules.
• Serve as the customs representative for customer accounts.
• Ensure SOPs and HTS databases are compliant.
• Validate import documentation before entry submission.
• Aim for on-time performance, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
