Emser Tile LLC is seeking a versatile Customer Support & Warehouse Representative in the Columbus area. This hybrid role combines front-facing customer service with essential warehouse operations, including order entry, inventory handling, and showroom upkeep.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in warehouse, building materials, or related fields.
• Results-driven, customer-focused, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Spanish-English bilingual preferred, or other language as appropriate for the area.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with internal and external customers delivering outstanding service in person and by phone.
• Drives sales by assisting customers with product selections and order entry.
• Coordinates day-to-day account operations, including order status and tracking.
• Performs administrative duties such as processing payments, entering vendor stock orders, open order management, and end-of-day paperwork.
• Maintains showroom standards by overseeing cleanliness, safety compliance, sample updates and monthly inventory audits.
• Prepares basic sample boards for both branch and customer showrooms.
• Other tasks as assigned to support both customer service and warehouse operations.
• Executes daily warehouse operations, managing inventory from intake to fulfillment in compliance with company policies.
• Conducts daily warehouse inventory reconciliations, resolves discrepancies, generates/inventories reports.
• Handles will-call customers and ensures professional service throughout their experience.
• Performs inventory receiving, recording, issuing, and transporting goods.
• Operates forklift to safely load/unload freight from inbound/outbound trucks.
• Keeps warehouse, loading docks, ramps and exterior clean, organized and safe.
• Supports inside branch operations by answering phone inquiries, greeting walk-in customers and processing pick slips.
