Job summary

The California Department of Justice, Customer Support Center, is seeking a Customer Support Specialist in Sacramento County for a 12-month limited term assignment. You will assist ammunition vendors, dealers, instructors, law enforcement, and the public with reporting and regulatory inquiries, while handling billing and BOF web-app support.

This hybrid telework position operates on a day shift, Monday–Friday, within the Division of Law Enforcement, Bureau of Firearms, CSC.

Qualifications

• Analytical and organizational skills required.
• Customer support and written correspondence experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support and technical assistance via telephone, email, and written correspondence.
• Assist ammunition vendors, firearms dealers, instructors, law enforcement, facilities and the public on reporting requirements and regulations.
• Address credit card billing issues and web-based applications related to BOF.
