Responsibilities

• Independently plans, schedules, and conducts statewide inspections of licensed firearm dealers to ensure compliance with state laws.
• Communicates inspection findings with ATF investigators and referrals.
• Provides training to stakeholders on reporting and California firearm laws and regulations.
• Conducts inspections of dealers, ammunition vendors, manufacturers, and gun show producers to verify compliance.
