Job summary

GT Independence is seeking a Customer Service (Self Determination) Support Specialist in Sturgis, Michigan, to help people self-direct their care. The role combines phone support with behind-the-scenes administration in a collaborative team, with opportunities to grow within the organization.

You’ll handle calls, document management, DocuSign workflows, and payroll checklists, while upholding compliance standards and contributing to a positive, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make and receive phone calls to support external and internal stakeholders
• Enter information into databases, such as a call log, for effective record keeping
• Prepare and send documents via DocuSign or email
• Ensure the proper naming and saving of documents in the document management system
• Assist customers in returning documents
• Manage DocuSign accounts and support issues from the operations staff and customers
• Ensure all compliance standards are met for audit purposes
• Timesheet reviewing and time tracking
• Accurately and efficiently complete payroll checklists for assigned agencies
• Work with your team leader to identify strategies for reducing errors
• Collaborate with your team to resolve rejected timesheet issues

Education
