Job summary

Canon USA in Itasca, IL is seeking a customer service professional to handle high-volume calls, provide accurate information, resolve issues, and build strong relationships with customers.

The hybrid, full-time position requires excellent communication, active listening, multi-tasking and adherence to procedures. HS diploma or equivalent is required; salary ranges from $19.04 to $24.18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Requires strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
• Good customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage tasks effectively.
• Works in a call center environment.

Responsibilities

• Receives and responds to a large number of incoming requests; identifies and assesses customers' needs to achieve satisfaction; builds sustainable relationships with customers.
• Provides accurate, valid and complete information using the right methods/tools.
• Documents customer complaints and provides appropriate solutions within time limits; follows up to ensure resolution.
• Keeps records of customer interactions, processes customer accounts and files documents.
• Follows communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
• Maintains schedule adherence and tracks non-ACD time using appropriate Aux codes.
• Places parts and supply orders, provides price quotes, RMAs, debits, credits, Web Store enrollments, and basic troubleshooting.
