Job summary

Rotork is seeking a Customer Service Administrator on a fixed term contract in Houston, TX. You will ensure orders and RFQs are captured, documented and routed promptly to Contracts or Inside Sales, while collaborating with Sales, Finance, and management to secure information and approvals needed to action requests.

Key duties include maintaining data integrity, handling customer inquiries, and using ERP systems and SharePoint to keep processes moving.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a relevant industry.
• Strong customer service experience and focus.
• Ability to model Rotork DNA behaviors and leadership qualities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer focus.
• Able to multitask and manage competing priorities as they arise.
• Experience with ERP systems and flow control industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure data integrity and accurate record keeping.
• Organize and assign customer inbox requests within the same day of receipt.
• Communicate delays or holds on orders/quotes and expedite resolution.
• Respond professionally to customer queries within agreed timescales.
• Use established procedures to solve routine problems.
• Manage orders and RFQs in systems such as SharePoint, MTMS, AX and CE; process changes as needed.
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments on entry, credit, and approvals.
• Apply guidance to analyse and resolve problems and capture feedback for improvements.
