Job summary

SBM Life Science, headquartered in Cary, NC, is seeking a Customer Order Manager to lead the Customer Order Specialists and ensure top-tier B2B and Direct to Consumer service. The role supports cross-functional teams and drives KPIs and process improvements in a hybrid, onsite setting at our Cary headquarters.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in sales/order management, 2–3 years of leadership, and strong ERP and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field is required.
5+ years of sales/order experience.
2-3 years of experience managing a team.
Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail oriented and organized in work.
Experience in advance order management in an ERP.
Good data entry/computer skills, proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Oversee the Customer Order Specialists to provide B2B and Direct to Consumer order experience.
Drive cross-functional collaboration and ensure service levels.
Manage day-to-day functions and KPIs for the team.
Collaborate with finance to resolve invoice and pricing issues.
Monitor order issues and prepare order reports.
Support process improvement initiatives with operations, warehouse, and accounting.
