Georgia-Pacific Containerboard in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Customer Account Manager to provide end-to-end support for domestic customer accounts. The role processes orders, coordinates production demand, manages fulfillment, and partners with sales, manufacturing, transportation, and others to deliver service-focused and cost-effective solutions.

The position is based in Atlanta with a hybrid work schedule and occasional after-hours support for West Coast customers and urgent shipments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years relevant work experience.
• Customer account management or supply chain experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating and modifying spreadsheets, using formulas, and analyzing or manipulating data.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for mill and customer visits.

Responsabilidades

• Entering a high volume of complex customer purchase orders with strong attention to detail, planning production timing, and tracking shipments through delivery.
• Building trusted customer relationships, understanding account needs and trends, and serving as the primary interface for supply chain support.
• Receiving and managing orders, changes, and cancellations; clarifying customer needs; and communicating updates, delays, and requests to customers and sales representatives.
• Resolving order fulfillment issues that arise during production, transportation, or warehouse storage.
• Coordinating product shipments, expediting urgent orders, and arranging pickup or return of defective product when needed.
• Partnering with sales and cross-functional teams, including operations, manufacturing, transportation, warehousing, and other capability groups, to implement service and cost solutions.
• Identifying root causes, evaluating service and cost tradeoffs, recommending practical solutions, and driving issues through resolution with urgency and sound economic thinking.
• Maintaining accurate customer pricing within GP's ERP system.
• Managing customer account credits and debits when issues arise.
• Monitoring and managing warehouse inventory levels to help ensure required products are available for shipment.
• Providing occasional after-hours support for urgent customer needs, including locating or tracking time-sensitive truck and rail shipments.
