Job summary

RAE Security is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative for a hybrid role in Houston, TX. Work hours are 3:30pm–10pm, Monday–Friday, with two in-office days (Tuesday and Thursday) and three days remote. You may rotate weekends for on-call coverage.

You will support a single client, manage admin tasks, and dispatch service technicians. The ideal candidate has strong communication, is tech‑savvy, and familiar with Microsoft Office; locksmithing experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high levels of customer service via phone and email.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; data entry and proofreading skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Experience with door hardware or locksmithing is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact during your shift for the client via phone and email.
• Manage installation tickets and dispatch to technicians.
• Work with our subcontract network to resolve needs.
• Handle data entry, filing, and document proofreading with accuracy.
• Process sub-contractor invoicing and customer billing.
• Support client schedule management for NEW/REMODEL stores.
• Provide admin support including inventory management for Service Vehicles.
• Assist with general office tasks and document organization.
• Deliver outstanding customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously.
