Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Database Administrator II to support incident handling, maintenance, and project tasks in a hybrid role. You will manage SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and Cache/Mumps databases, perform backup and patching, and coach other DBAs.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in CS or related field and has 3–4 years of DB experience, including Windows/Linux setups and on-call rotations; CTMS administration experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or Cache/Mumps; must troubleshoot and tune.
• 4 years experience in Networking, Server Management and Storage with MS SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL/Cache/Mumps; troubleshooting and tuning required.
• Preferred licenses and certifications: MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL and Cache/Mumps.

Responsibilities

• Performs database maintenance, backup management, performance tuning and patching.
• Provides guidance, mentoring and training for other DBAs and participates in on-call rotation.
• Documents IT governance and project tasks to ensure milestones are met and service quality is maintained.
