Job summary

United Way of Northern Utah is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for the Weber Communities That Care (CTC) coalition. The role supports operations, data management, volunteer engagement, and community outreach to advance CTC goals within the Weber County area, including North Ogden, Pleasant View, Harrisville, and Ogden Valley.

The ideal candidate blends administrative coordination with community engagement and can manage meetings, timelines, and reports while maintaining strong relationships

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• 1+ year of experience in Project Management and/or Volunteer/Event Coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Flexible schedule with travel to various locations as required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and handle physical tasks.
• Occasional night or weekend commitments and travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks for Coalition Workgroups, Committees, and Boards, including scheduling, minutes, and materials preparation.
• Enter and track data for reports and grant progress.
• Draft grant reports and assist with budget development and management.
• Coordinate with community leaders, volunteers, and stakeholders to implement CTC processes.
• Travel within the Weber Cone area; attend meetings, trainings, and events.
• Recruit, retain, and coordinate volunteers; manage communications.
