Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of experience as a Credit Underwriter.
• Knowledge of consumer and residential lending practices.
• Understanding of related legal and regulatory standards and required loan documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process loan applications within authority limits.
• Evaluate and verify loan criteria, collateral, and employment details.
• Prepare loan files and ensure compliant procedures are followed.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and assist with inquiries.
• Complete reports and documentation accurately and promptly.
