FNBO in Omaha is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to help customers achieve home ownership with a personal, streamlined mortgage experience. You will originate and close loans, assess client needs, and guide them through the full mortgage journey with accuracy and care.

The role rewards a mindset of continuous improvement, collaboration with branches and partners, and adherence to CRA, BSA/AML, and regulatory requirements. A hybrid schedule with in-person and remote work is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong sales ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide an outstanding customer experience by listening to customer needs and offering solid mortgage guidance.
• Originate and close mortgage loans while ensuring compliance and file accountability.
• Collect and input complete applications using the FNBO Mortgage system.
• Explain mortgage options and guide clients through the process to meet financial goals.
• Collaborate with branches and mortgage partners to optimize referrals and efficiency.
