Job summary

Alpine Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst II in Grand Junction to underwrite loans and cross over between commercial and consumer products as needed. The role supports Relationship Managers with loan analysis and ensures compliance with underwriting standards.

Qualified candidates have at least two years of bank credit analysis experience, strong financial analysis skills, and a bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting. A Colorado Driver’s license and NMLS license are required.

Responsibilities

• Execute work following the Bank's processes and procedures.
• Identify trends in income and cash flow, and sources/uses of business cash flow.
• Complete loan analysis and workflow for the Relationship Manager review.
• Ensure cash flow and retained earnings reconcile.
• Identify trends in financial performance or balance sheet concerns.
• Communicate missing items or questions to the Relationship Manager.
• Prepare a written analysis of findings.
• Meet the set goal for completed files.
• Follow underwriting standards with minimal guidance.
• Suggest improvements with supervisor approval when appropriate.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance as an essential function.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
