Job summary

Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. is seeking a Hybrid Workplace Project Manager to drive real estate projects from planning to occupancy, coordinating with landlords, brokers, architects, and internal teams in Iowa and Nebraska.

You’ll manage scope, budgets, and schedules, ensuring compliance with company standards and codes while delivering value and minimal disruption to operations. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• The candidate has 3–5 years of workplace, real estate, or related project experience.
• Strong knowledge of lease administration and space planning processes.
• Ability to interpret contracts, leases, and construction docs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to assess workplace needs and define project requirements.
• Manage projects from planning through occupancy, including site selection and fit-out.
• Collaborate with landlords, brokers, architects, and vendors.
• Monitor scope, budgets, schedules, and risks for on-time delivery.
• Lead stakeholder communications and manage changing business needs.
• Oversee real estate activities including market research and lease negotiations.
• Facilitate space planning and furniture procurement to meet occupancy goals.
• Ensure compliance with standards, lease obligations, and building codes.
