Job summary

CRB is seeking a Design Project Manager in Omaha, NE. You will lead architecture and engineering design teams, manage scope, schedule, and budgets, and serve as the primary client contact during design phases.

You will coordinate internal and external designers, control design change, and track profitability while upholding CRB's quality standards. This hybrid role requires in-office presence 3 days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in an A/E or design-focused firm.
• Experience leading design teams and design deliverables, not construction field execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams through all phases of design.
• Plan, execute, and monitor design scope, schedule, and budget.
• Serve as primary client liaison during design and manage client expectations.
• Coordinate internal resources and external design partners for timely deliverables.
• Manage design change control, scope adjustments, and fee impacts.
• Track design labor budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
• Ensure adherence to CRB's quality standards and documentation requirements.
• Support business development through client relationships and proposals.
• Pursue industry certifications such as PMP or relevant design PM credentials.
