Job summary

Michigan Virtual is seeking a Course Support Assistant to maintain online courses by troubleshooting LMS issues, updating content, and ensuring tools are ready each term. You will support a variety of learning tools, coordinate with the Curriculum Team, and assist with course audits for launch readiness.

The role requires 1–2 years in digital content management, an associate degree or equivalent, and comfort using Brightspace, CourseArc, and HTML5.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology or customer service.
• 1-2 years of experience managing digital content or systems and/or customer support.
• 2-3 years of experience with learning management systems (e.g., Brightspace).
• Ability to troubleshoot web-based issues and communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, respond to and resolve LMS content/asset issues.
• Manage communications between internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain access to course content resources and tools in LMS/CMS.
• Ensure media accessibility and accessibility standards.
• Document maintenance tasks and perform QA testing.
