Job summary

Verathy is seeking a Resident Counselor for a part-time hybrid role in Tysons Corner, VA. You will support clients using AI-enhanced psychotherapy tools, conduct psychosocial assessments, and maintain clinical records in a collaborative care setting.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology and licensure or license-eligibility in VA, with experience in CBT/DBT/ACT and telehealth.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible mental health professional with training in individual psychotherapy.
• Experience with CBT, DBT, ACT, or trauma-informed care and tailoring to diverse client needs.
• Comfort working with technology in clinical settings, including electronic health records, telehealth platforms, and data-informed treatment approaches.
• Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, clinical documentation, and maintaining client confidentiality in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with a client-centered, culturally responsive approach to care.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage a part-time caseload, and collaborate effectively with supervisors and multidisciplinary team members.

Responsibilities
