Role Description

The Resident Counselor will provide direct client support using Verathy’s AI-enhanced psychotherapy tools, focusing on evidence-based interventions and collaborative treatment planning. This part-time, hybrid role is based in Tysons Corner, VA, with a mix of on-site client sessions and remote documentation and follow-up tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, maintaining accurate clinical records, monitoring client progress with biometric and behavioral data, and coordinating care with other providers. The Resident Counselor will also offer crisis support when appropriate, engage in case consultations and supervision, and provide feedback to the product team on clinical usability and effectiveness of the tools.

• Licensed or license-eligible mental health professional (e.g., Resident in Counseling in VA, LPC/LCSW/LCP candidate) with training in individual psychotherapy and behavioral health.
• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, or trauma-informed care, and the ability to tailor interventions to diverse client needs.
• Comfort working with technology in clinical settings, including electronic health records, telehealth platforms, and data-informed treatment approaches.
