Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Texas bar admission or eligible after passage.
• 0–2 years of legal experience; new graduates welcome.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and take initiative.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with willingness to use AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts.
• Advise on corporate governance, business transactions, and general corporate legal matters.
• Assist with real estate transactions, leases, and property-related matters.
• Support estate planning, tax planning and compliance, and related legal matters.
• Manage collections-related litigation and coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
• Research government contracting requirements, regulatory compliance, and contractual issues.
• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Independently research legal issues, evaluate risks, and develop practical recommendations.
• Work directly with executive and operational leadership across HHS's businesses.
