Qualifikationen

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas or awaiting admission after passing the Texas bar.
• 0–2 years of legal experience; new graduates welcome.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational skills and professional judgment.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn unfamiliar areas of law.
• Strong communication skills and practical, business-oriented problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; openness to using AI tools.

Aufgaben

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and business agreements.
• Advise on corporate governance and general corporate matters.
• Assist with real estate transactions, leases, and property matters.
• Support estate planning, tax planning and compliance.
• Manage collections-related litigation and coordinate with outside counsel.
• Research government contracting requirements and regulatory issues.
• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Independently research legal issues and provide practical recommendations.
• Collaborate with executive leadership across HHS's businesses.
