Job summary

Cisco is seeking an experienced in-house lawyer to draft and negotiate complex sales and technology agreements with major service providers in a hybrid work model. You will advise on AI, IP, data licensing, and regulatory issues, while supporting direct and indirect sales channels.

This role requires a JD with 5+ years of tech transactional experience in a multinational setting and strong communication in English. Cisco offers a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement.

Qualifications

• JD and 5+ years of legal experience supporting complex transactional matters.
• Expert knowledge of commercial, contract, and business law including IP, software licensing, data use rights, privacy and security.
• Familiarity with GDPR/CCPA and export-import regulations.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate bespoke, complex sales and commercial agreements with major service providers.
• Advise on AI- and IP-related issues, including data licensing and model ownership.
• Provide counsel across direct and indirect sales channels, including channel partners and distributors.
• Collaborate with Finance to align terms with revenue recognition policies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Sales leadership and Finance.
• Ensure compliance with governance and privacy requirements.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to a collaborative culture.
