Job summary

New Energy Equity in Annapolis, MD is seeking an Accounting leader with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA is preferred.

This role is hybrid and expects 2-3 days per week in the Annapolis office. The Manager, Corporate Accounting will oversee monthly close, financial reporting, internal controls, and staff development, partnering with multiple departments to ensure accurate transactions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA designation is preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with NetSuite and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations and monthly close.
• Lead and develop accounting staff.
• Coordinate with departments and subsidiaries.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and prepare financial statements.
• Support internal and external audits.
